We have used Voicethread in Literacy over the past few months and both myself and the children love using it! Even if we don’t like the sound of our own voices! However, I wanted to see if it could be used to help explain methods on how we solve problems in Numeracy. This is our 1st attempt and the results are great! Many different approaches have been explained.
This is only our 1st attempt. We used the webcam to video the workings out so people could see which methos the pupils were using. We hope you enjoy watching and listening to our explanations!

What a great idea, might try this with my Y8s. We have some flip cams, could we upload the videos from them?
This is great, such a brilliant use of Voicethread. Showing how the children work out the problems using video is a powerful tool to help others understand, especially parents! I’ll show this to my class as we are planning on doing something similar.
