Due to my brother starting Heathfield this year we still receive the news letters, therefore  when I heard Heathfield’s blog is the best Blog in Britain, I’ was so proud that I went to Heathfield primary school!

Recently in English  we had to tell our teacher our planning techniques , like V.C.O.P ( most people didn’t know what it was) so on. Moreover  my teacher was most impressed with heathfields techniques and I got star player!

At first it seemed scary and I missed all my freinds.

But now I love high school more than ever and have made loads of  great freinds i.e Tara, josephine. much more!

Wow! I just cant believe my time in heathfeild has gone already! Year six was the best year ever, and to be honest I really miss it. However high school  is cool too. It’s  a bit tiring though!! Hey Mr Mitchell our English teacher gave us a quiz to see how we are at English and what we know, she was so impressed by what Me, Halimah and Ammarah said she asked have you been home tutored. How we laughed , actually we said “we were taught by the best” she said we were really lucky. Well that’s all from me now! To all year six reading this and the Teachers I miss you !!!!

I keep wondering how our ‘Leavers’ are doing as they prepare for their next chapter in their lives. This blog will remain ‘live’ for as long as you use it. It would be great if you could get back on here and let us know how you are getting on and possibly share some of your work with us. We always need GREAT examples of writing to show what Level 6 looks like!

The Grass Snake usually lives in the warmer parts of Britian ( Such as the South Coast) And the Smooth snake is only found in Southern Counties! They feed on a numerous amount of smaller mammals: Birds, lizards, frogs, newts and other similar size animals!

Ramadan is finally here. On wednesday 11 August 2010 Ramadan will start with the first fast. Fasting means to control yourself. You fast to control your hunger, patience, anger, and senses. You fast from before dawn to sunset. You MUST control everything between this time limit.
(Control hunger as in do not eat or drink within the time limit)

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calender and the month in which the Qur’an was revealed.

Ramadan is the holiest of months in the Islamic calendar. Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. The month is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. The name came from the time before the Islamic calendar, when the month of Ramadan fell in the summer. Fasting during this month is often thought figuratively to burn away all sins. Muslims believe that the Qur’an was sent down to the lowest heaven during this month thus being prepared for gradual revelation by angel Gibril (Gabriel) to the Prophet Muhammad. Furthermore, the Prophet Muhammad told his followers that the gates of Heaven would be open all the month and the gates of Hell would be closed. The first day of the next month is spent in celebrations and is observed as the ‘Festival of Breaking Fast’ or `Eid ul-Fitr.

Dear Kitty,

WOW! what a day.  I heared bombs dropping over cities, as I watched and listened. I was scared, so here I am with you writing to you telling you about this day.

Lightening and thundering loudly, as I look through the window.  My heart pounding like a ball being hit by a bat, thinking what was going to happen next. I wish you was there Kitty to see what it was like. It was thundering and lightening for hours now, well it felt like hours anyway. Now enough about that, this is the important thing Kitty, my Dad went fighting in the army- I am petrified and horrified! Many thought gatered my mind like: what is going to happen to him? and why did he have to fight in the army? I miss him already, but mostly scared of him dying. Wat should I do Kitty? I can hear him saying in my mind, “I’ll be back soon, I hope!”

What should I do Kitty I cant stop thinking of Father?
